This is the reason why the journalist is one of my favourite characters. XD

A bit of trivia, in initial drafts, he actually had two personas; a mild mannered journalist, and a noir-esque detective that's constantly narrating internally.

Problem was, he's a side character that we're not gonna spend a lot of time with, so neither personality really seemed to shine in his scenes. So I told Chris, drop the mild mannered side, go all out with the noir detective personality, and make his monologues external instead of internal.

Sure, it made him a more simplistic character, but I think he's hilarious now. :P
